The Mechanical Gauge Kit has no wires and needs no power to operate. A 22 inch capillary tube, wire like, is permanently attached to back of gauge. The sender unit is attached to the other end of the capillary tube and will thread into coolant adapter that will be in coolant line between engine head and radiator.
