Description   The Mechanical Gauge Kit has no wires and needs no power to operate. A 22 inch capillary tube, wire like, is permanently attached to back of gauge. The sender unit is attached to the other end of the capillary tube and will thread into coolant adapter that will be in coolant line between engine head and radiator. Location of gauge and coolant adapter must be less than 22 inches to connect to each other. To remove fenders you will need to disconnect capillary tube from coolant adapter if fenders are moved often, the 12 volt gauges are recommended. 12 volt gauges unplug so you don’t have to break into the coolant system to remove fenders. Inline coolant adapter is machined from solid aluminum, anodized in red or blue for corrosion resistance. The 7/8" inline tee is the most commonly used size on most applications. On some sports models, installation is less than 20 minutes. Easy to install, comes with all hardware and instructions.
